KTTC ADMINISTRATION

Board of Governors (BOG)

Chief Principal

Deputy Chief Principal

MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF PRINCIPAL

Mr. Charles Imbali, Chief Principal

The Kenya Technical Teachers College (KTTC) has witnessed tremendous expansion since its inception in 1978. This is in terms of academic programmes, staffing and physical facilities. Right now we have a fully automated and very well equipped library. We have embarked on building an ICT Center which, on completion, will be one of its kind in East Africa.

KTTC has continued to be a Center of Excellence in training highly qualified technical teachers to teach in public and private institutions. This is in line with our vision: To be a leading institution in technical teacher education and technology in Africa.

Developments in technical education sector have seen the upgrading of national polytechnics to university status. In line with those developments, KTTC is expected to prepare for degree awarding status in order to strategically position itself in offering degrees in technology and the training of technical teachers at a higher level for various technical institutions in the country.

The Kenya Technical Teachers College puts itself on a new platform of ensuring that the institution is well managed and delivers efficient quality service to the public. It’s within this context that the College has developed a service charter to monitor our performance in an effort to continuously improve the services we provide. I acknowledge the hard work and commitment of the entire College staff, the students and the SKETCO officials in the achievement of our goals.

CHARLES I. IMBALI, OGW.

CHIEF PRINCIPAL
