WORD FROM DEAN OF STUDENT

In KTTC, the Office of the Dean of Students can be referred to as the students’ office. This is because the office takes care of the students’ wellbeing ranging from social, financial, academic to health issues. The dean and deputy dean of students are the students' lawyers, advocates, and advisors in their general welfare. They are the go-between the students and the entire administration.
As a result, our office is one of the busiest in KTTC and we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our cell phones are on throughout the day and night. This ensures that the students can reach us at all times and we can attend to them anytime they need us.
For us to give the students and the staff better services, we collaborate with all other College departments, SKETTCO council and the Administration. Many of the issues and problems brought to our attention are dealt with in our office. However, certain issues and problems which may be complex and serious are forwarded to the Principal and the Deputy Principal for further action.
Working i n Dean's office is challenging and requires the skills of listening, patience, positive thinking and the unconditional acceptance of all students. Such skills help us to be productive and to deal with both very serious issues and the trivial ones. For us, all issues affecting the students are important and must be listened to and dealt with in a satisfactory manner.
In this office, our joy is when things are running smoothly in the College and when we succeed in giving excellent service to our clients, "the students". Therefore, we could say that;
Success = Ordinary things done in extra ordinary ways
